Biography
Carlos Julio Silva García, together with his brother León Dario SILVA GARCÍA, is a self-taught Colombian entrepreneur and innovator with more than 30 years of experience in screen printing and research and development of inks, adhesives and release agents.
Since 1989, he has been dedicated to exploring creative and sustainable solutions in these fields, expanding his expertise through hands-on experimentation.
In 2014, Carlos co-founded Magink Group in São Paulo, Brazil, a company specialising in advanced materials and technologies. His passion for sustainable development and innovation led him to establish Reconversión Circular in 2022, a Colombian R&D company focused on circular economy solutions. Through Reconversión Circular, Carlos aims to transform waste into valuable resources, promoting environmental sustainability and generating social impact.
His career reflects a deep commitment to innovation, sustainability and the belief that meaningful change can be driven through creative problem solving and entrepreneurship. Currently, he is founder & CTO of BIOMA.
